2025 FOCUS FOR GIVING
〰️
2025 FOCUS FOR GIVING 〰️
In January 2022, we opened Mapalo Bread of Life Secondary School, with 140 students, starting with an existing 3-classroom building.
Our goal was to add one grade per year.
As of 2025, we have grades 7,8,9, and 10 with almost 400 students.
We knew we would need 10-12 classrooms in total at the school to accommodate the future grades of the growing secondary school. We were able to build faster than originally anticipated, and as of January 2025, we now have 10 classrooms completed!
Our goal is to continue building infrastructure at the school to enhance extra-curricular activities and provide adequate learning environments.
Our current focuses are:
Childcare facility for our parenting students
Classrooms for our hands-on agricultural and home-economics programs
What sets us apart
Our organization does not send anyone overseas to work in Zambia, nor do we dictate what the people we work with need to do. We work mutually with our Zambian partner, Advocacy and Development for the Poor (ADP), to create goals for the betterment of the local people and community.
We strongly believe that the Zambian people possess the ability to do everything they need in order for their communities to become the best they can be.
Every human being needs support at some point in time. Helping others help themselves is what we aim to do.
Support Sustain Succeed Zambia (S3Z) provides the financial resources for specific educational and community projects in the community they serve. We are completely volunteer staffed and 100% of all contributions go directly to the programs supported by our organizations.
The local Zambians perform the tasks that are required to accomplish that work. Local teachers teach in the school, local contractors and laborers build the school, and the local non-governmental organization that we have partnered with is there to physically direct and oversee all the work that is being accomplished.
“I must say their passion is contagious! Working with a local NGO here in Zambia they have been touching lives, as young and old have received financial and material assistance. I am aware, in particular, that the community of Mapalo in Ndola, Zambia has benefited immensely, starting from shelter, food supplements, school requirements for children from vulnerable families.”
